Electra Tarp Inc. was founded in 1974 in Canton, OH (Pro Football Hall of Fame City) as a custom tarpaulin manufacturer. We take pride in creating a finished product that will service our customer’s needs, be higher quality than expected and ship on time as promised.

The custom tarpaulins manufactured are always different and many times surprisingly interesting. We constantly challenge ourselves to create new and innovative products to offer. One such product is our Safety Town floor covers used for educational purposes. They are fun for us to produce as no two covers are the same. From the unique designs of our Guard and Martial Arts Floors to the basic rectangular tarp we find diversification allows us the opportunity to gain knowledge and insight from our customer’s needs.

The Hall of Fame Bridge project was brought to our attention because the metal forms of the players on the bridge sides were not easily seen. We made custom black wind screen tarps to be placed behind the figures making them easily recognizable yet allowing wind and rain to escape.

In the 1990’s a Pastor contacted us regarding Awana, a bible game used in churches. He was looking for a way to make the game mobile and asked if we could create the game on a tarp. This was accomplished by manufacturing the tarp to the specifications required and hiring a professional artist to paint the game lines. The game floor was such a success word spread and Electra Tarp’s Awana game floors have been shipped all over the world.
